Terms of Service

Pet Doodle is operated by Aster Studio, a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada (“we,” “us”). By uploading a photo or purchasing a portrait, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

1. What Pet Doodle is

Pet Doodle turns a photo of your pet into hand-drawn-style ink doodle portraits generated by third-party AI models. Results are intentionally whimsical and imperfect. Each accepted photo produces two takes; there are no free re-generations.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18, or use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You may only upload photos that you own or have permission to use. You confirm that your upload doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights and isn’t unlawful, harmful, or offensive.

3. Acceptable use

• Upload photos of pets and animals only. Other subjects are automatically declined.
• Don’t upload content you don’t have the rights to, or anything illegal or abusive.
• Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service, or to bypass the preview/payment flow.

4. Previews, purchases, and pricing

Both takes are shown as free, watermarked previews so you can judge them before buying. Unlocking a portrait costs $4.99 and lets you download either take, or both, in full resolution. Prices are in US dollars, may change, and are exclusive of any applicable taxes (such as GST/HST), which are added at checkout where required — the total shown at checkout is the amount you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don’t receive or store your full card details.

5. Refunds

Because you can preview both takes for free before paying, and files are delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable. If a download failed or you were charged in error, contact asterstudio9@gmail.com and we’ll work to resolve it fairly.

6. Your content and your doodle

You keep all rights to the original photo you upload. We claim no ownership of it. Once you purchase a portrait, you may use the resulting doodle for personal and commercial purposes. You grant us a limited, temporary license to process your photo solely to create and deliver your doodle, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Our brand and site

The Pet Doodle name, look and feel, and site content are owned by Aster Studio. These terms don’t give you rights to our branding.

8. AI-generated results

Doodles are produced by automated AI models and are provided “as is.” They may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unusable for a given photo. Deliberate clumsiness is a feature, not a defect.

9. Availability

We may change, pause, or discontinue the service at any time. Finished portraits are kept only briefly (see the Privacy Policy), so download your files promptly.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind. Aster Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the portrait at issue.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ontario, Canada have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service — subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your place of residence, which these terms do not override.
